Love chocolate? You're not alone. Plain or fancy, crunchy or creamy, chilled or molten - everyone's got a favourite when it comes to chocolatey treats.

It may be delicious, but remember that all chocolate is high in fat, sugar and Points® values. Having said that, there are a couple of things you can do to get your chocolate fix in the best and most mindful way possible.

Firstly, consume in moderation. Secondly, choose good quality chocolate. A good chocolate is like good red wine - it has a brightness that mellows as it melts in your mouth. If you're going to treat yourself, you might as well treat yourself right!

Lastly, try switching from milk or white to dark chocolate. According to the British Nutrition Foundation, dark chocolate contains considerably more cocoa flavanols than milk chocolate, which are thought to positively impact heart health.
