Lower carb recipes

Our programme works to suit you, regardless of your dieterary preferences, however it is important to include healthy carbs in your eating every day.

With Weight Watchers no foods are off limits, but we appreciate that sometimes you might be looking to lower your carb intake. If so,  we'd recommend you focus on satisfying proteins, such as skinless chicken and turkey breast,  or opt for meat free alternatives such as Quorn and pack your plate with large servings of vegetables and salad.  

When cooking meals such as spaghetti bolognaise and chilli con carne using lean mince and tinned tomatoes, pack out the dish with plenty of chopped fresh vegetables such as courgette, grated carrot or cherry tomatoes and serve up with a small portion of pasta or rice or some extra veg.

Grate alternative: Try making cauliflower rice.  Grated cauliflower cooks much faster, and it is a great lower carb alternative to rice.

Easy eating out: It's easy to out and stick to a lower carb approach - what could be tastier than a juicy steak and salad?!
