The classic cuban combo of ham, pork, cheese, and pickles makes for an amazing slider sandwich! Typically pressed like a panini, in this recipe you just pop them in the oven to save prep time. A great way to use up leftover pork tenderloin from dinner too! If you’re not starting with cooked pork tenderloin, it’s easy to roast: Season it, spray with nonstick spray, and roast at 400°F until an internal temperature of at least 145°F, about 25 minutes. This is a super recipe to double for a bigger gathering.

Cooking spray

5 spray(s)

Light mayonnaise

2 Tbsp

Dijon Mustard

1 Tbsp

Minced garlic

1 tsp

Slider rolls

6 item(s), Hawaiian or slider-size potato buns

Cooked pork tenderloin

8 oz, sliced into 6 equal pieces

Lean deli-sliced honey ham

4 oz, 6 slices

Hamburger pickle chips

12 chip(s)

Low-fat Swiss cheese

6 oz, 6 slices

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, mustard, and garlic.
  2. In 13-by-9-inch baking pan, arrange bottom halves of slider buns. Layer 1 pork slice, 1 ham slice, 2 pickles, and 1 oz cheese on each bottom half. Spread mayonnaise mixture on top halves of buns and place on top of assembled sliders. Spray tops of buns with nonstick spray.
  3. Cover sliders with foil. Place another 13-by9-inch baking pan on top to weigh down sliders. Bake until cheese is melted and meat is heated through, 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Serving size: 1 slider
