What are WeightWatchers Workshops?

Our Workshops (or Meetings, back in the day) are coach-led group sessions held at a Studio location or online. You don’t need to go, but the extra support can really ramp up your results: WeightWatchers Workshops members lose two times more weight than those who DIY.† Workshops offer unlimited accountability from coaches and members who really get the weight-loss journey.
In-person and virtual Workshops are also now available to WeightWatchers members on our medication plan. Get expert-led nutrition guidance and connect with others on similar journeys for even more success.

What happens at a Workshop?

If attending in person, you’ll arrive, weigh in privately (your info is for your and your coach’s eyes only), listen to the weekly technique, and chat with your group in a 30-minute session. You can be an active participant or simply sit back and listen! No matter how you experience Workshops, they’re a totally safe space where you’ll find new ideas and endless inspiration.

What does WeightWatchers Membership + Workshops cost?

Generally, a WeightWatchers membership with Workshops (formerly called our Premium membership) starts for as low as $45 per month, depending on the length of the commitment you choose. See offers and pricing for Workshops.

Are Workshops held only in person?

Nope! You’ll have access to all Workshops—in person, virtual, or both—depending on what you want and need each week. Weighing in, seeing other members, or making an in-person Workshop part of your routine may offer more accountability. But if you’d rather catch up with members and coaches from the comfort of your couch (or coffee shop), that’s OK too.

How many Workshops can I attend per week?

Workshop members can attend as many Workshops as they please. While there’s only one weekly technique to take away each week, there will be different members, success stories, and community experiences at every Workshop. There’s no such thing as too much support.

How do weigh-ins work?

At an in-person Workshop, you’ll weigh in privately with your trained WeightWatchers guide and track your weight in the app—up to 30 minutes before the Workshop begins so arrive early! For virtual Workshops, you’ll weigh in anytime before your Workshop’s start time and track your weight in the app the same way.

How involved do I have to be at a Workshop?

You decide your level of engagement at each Workshop. Share as much or as little as you like with your coach and fellow members. You’ll never be required to speak up or be in the spotlight.
