File this one away in your keepsake recipe box. This recipe relies on all the tried-and-true ingredients that have made blue cheese an enduring dressing for generations, plus it includes a surprising addition—a touch of ketchup for a blush of sweetness. Try this on salads, burgers, wings, and so many things in between. Serve a bowlful on a platter as a tasty dip for your favorite crudités when you're entertaining guests. Keep a jar on hand in the refrigerator so you can turn a heap of boxed mesclun greens into a restaurant-worthy starter or make grilled flank steak taste better than any steak house special.
