Vegetarian chili in bread bowls
low-fat or fat-free canned vegetarian chili
30 oz, 2 (15-ounce) cans
mixed grain bread
8 oz, rolls, 4 (2-ounce)
Weight Watchers Reduced-fat Mexican style shredded cheese
uncooked red onion(s)
½ small, chopped
2 Tbsp, fresh, chopped
- Put the chili in a large microwavable bowl. Microwave on High until heated through, about 5 minutes, stirring once or twice.
- Meanwhile, slice the top third off each roll. Pull out the soft bready center to form bread bowls. Spoon the chili evenly into the bread bowls and top evenly with the cheddar, onion, and cilantro. Yields 1 filled bowl per serving.
