Bring a playful and artistic main dish to the table tonight with these Asian-inspired shrimp kebabs. Simple to prepare, these shrimp are great over a bed of steamed rice and wilted spinach or, choose a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies at the supermarket and steam for a wonderful base. Cut the prep time considerable and purchase shrimp already peeled and deveined. Toss the shrimp in the marinade first thing in the morning and come home from your day to deeply flavored shrimp, ready to grill. Wooden or metal, the skewers are a great way to get the shrimp on and off the grill without falling through the grates. Soaking the wooden skewers for at least 30 minutes keeps them from burning while the shrimp cook. Try these for your next cook-out or just a fun weeknight dinner outside. When the weather turns colder, use the broiler to recreate the flavors of summer.
