Picture this... it's a weekend night. You have the house to yourself. Now it's time for a good movie, a glass of wine and some delicious pasta. No need for take-out! This spaghetti and meatball dish is super satisfying and easy to prepare in just over 30 minutes. The filling-yet-light turkey meatballs come together with only five ingredients, pairing perfectly with a bit of cooked pasta and your favorite jarred sauce. Finished with some Parmigiano-Reggiano, this meal is the upscale dish you deserve. Make some crunchy garlic toast to sop up the sauce or serve with a quick green salad.

Ingredients

Uncooked 99% fat-free ground turkey breast

Egg

Dried plain breadcrumbs

1½ Tbsp, or seasoned

Fresh parsley

1 Tbsp, or other fresh herbs, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Table salt

1 pinch(es), black pepper, red pepper flakes or other seasonings

Cooked spaghetti

Marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, and salt; roll into meatballs. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
  3. Serve meatballs over pasta with marinara sauce; sprinkle with cheese and garnish with fresh herbs.
