Change up your burger game with these wonderful Tex-Mex-inspired patties. A quick combination of ground beef, green chile salsa and chile powder transforms the traditional burger into a Southwestern delight. Add some smokiness with chipotle chile powder in place of regular chili powder. Chipotles are jalapeños that have been dried and smoked over a fire so they will also add a little heat. Creamy Swiss cheese melts beautifully over these burgers and crispy English muffins make wonderful buns. Vidalia onions are wonderful raw or cooked, if you like the flavor or grilled onions, throw them in your pan for a few minutes on each side before adding on the burger. Ready in just 23 minutes, you can make these on weeknights or weekends. Regardless of the day, your family is sure to love your new burger recipe.
