Romaine, Radicchio and Hearts of Palm Salad

This salad has a lovely Asian-inspired dressing. It makes a great starter or add some chopped chicken breast for a light meal.
romaine lettuce3 cup(s), shredded, or roughly torn into bite-size pieces
uncooked radicchio½ cup(s), torn into small pieces
hearts of palm½ cup(s), sliced 1/2-inch thick
white wine vinegar2 Tbsp
mirin¾ fl oz, about 4 teaspoons
vegetable oil½ tsp
sesame oil¼ tsp
table salt⅛ tsp
sesame seeds1 tsp
- In a small serving bowl, combine romaine, radicchio and hearts of palm.
- In a small cup, combine vinegar, mirin, sugar, both oils and salt.
- Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Yields about 2 cups salad per serving.
