You’re guaranteed to be met with smiles when you set out a tray of these spooky wraps, especially when folks realize they come with honey mustard dipping sauce. The recipe comes together quickly and easily, thanks to store-bought dough, and it’s a great one to get the kids involved in—they’ll love helping you wrap and decorate the mummies. Try serving with cute pumpkins made by placing small celery “stems” in the middle of peeled clementines.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Reduced fat crescent roll dough

8 oz

Cooked chicken sausage

10 oz, 4 (2.5-oz) sausages, halved lengthwise

Plain fat free Greek yogurt

¼ cup(s)

Mustard

2 Tbsp, plus more for garnish

Honey

1 Tbsp

Cayenne pepper

1 pinch(es)

Dried sesame seed kernels

0 tsp, black variety, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll dough, separating it into 8 wedges. Cut each wedge lengthwise into 4 strips. Wrap 4 strips around each sausage half, leaving a spot open toward the top for the eyes. Arrange on prepared sheet pan and lightly coat tops with nonstick spray. Bake at 375°F until golden brown, about 17 to 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine yogurt, mustard, honey, and cayenne. Using a toothpick dipped in mustard, add “eyes.” Top with sesame seeds to create “pupils,” if desired. Serve wraps with sauce.
  4. Serving size: 1 wrap and about 2 tsp sauce
