Get dinner on the table in just 10 minutes with this unbelievably easy grilled tuna dish. The mayonnaise mixture which consists of mayonnaise combined with yogurt, lemon zest and several herbs can be made in advanced and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Be creative in the kitchen—experiment with a variety of fresh herbs to make up your own herbed mayonnaise recipe. For optimal freshness, grill tuna on the same day that you purchase it. If your cooking with frozen tuna, thaw in the refrigerator, which should take about one to two days. Serve alongside herbed rice sprinkled with feta cheese and a Mediterranean salad.

Light mayonnaise

Plain fat free yogurt

¼ cup(s)

Fresh oregano

1 tsp, chopped

Fresh tarragon

1 tsp, chopped

Fresh lemon juice

Table salt

Uncooked tuna

1½ pound(s), four 6-oz steaks

Instructions

  1. Prepare grill.
  2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and chill.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper over steaks. Place steaks on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 3 minutes on each side or until steaks are medium-rare or to desired degree of doneness. To serve, top steaks with mayonnaise mixture. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 tuna steak and 2 tablespoons mayonnaise mixture).
