½ cup(s), regular yogurt - not Greek
- Position rack in center of oven. Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in yogurt and vanilla using a wooden spoon. Batter will be very thick (use your hands to incorporate all the ingredients, if necessary).
- Coat an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray; add batter to pan and spread into an even layer.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into center of brownies comes out with a few moist crumbs attached, about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes before cutting into 16 even pieces.
