With this sweet and savory chicken dish, less is more! This delicious 5-ingredient recipe will become your new standby and it’s one you’ll also memorize. The sauce relies on a few pantry items that you most likely always keep in stock and it tastes like it took much more time to prepare that it really does. Any dried herb like Rosemary or a blend such as Italian seasoning will be a great alternative for the thyme. If you find that your jar of honey has crystallized, heat the open jar in a microwave for 30 seconds. To keep the honey from sticking to your measuring spoon, coat it with cooking spray before measuring.

Ingredients

Dried thyme

1½ tsp

Table salt

  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 7 to 8 minutes on each side or until chicken is done.
  3. Transfer chicken to a platter; keep warm. Reduce heat to medium-low; add vinegar and honey to pan. Simmer 1 minute or until glaze thickens; stir constantly. Pour glaze over chicken. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 chicken breast half).
