These easy, no-cook sweet treats are sure to generate lots of smiles. They capture the spirit of Halloween candy—but in a healthier way that’s free of added sugars. Pineapple creates the yellow layer, cantaloupe provides the orange layer, and white cheddar becomes the white layer at the tip. We like the flavor of cheddar with the fruit, but any reduced-fat white cheese will work—such as mozzarella, Monterey jack, or provolone. You can assemble these up to a day ahead; store on a plate with a damp paper towel over the top, and then wrap loosely with plastic wrap.

  1. Use the pineapple pieces as a guide to help create the candy corn shape, cutting the cantaloupe and cheese so that, when assembled, they form a triangle shape. Thread 1 pineapple piece, 1 cantaloupe piece, and 1 cheese piece onto each of 12 (6-in) skewers.
