Reinvent the BLT with sweet & spicy flavors! The bacon in this classic gets crumbled and blended into a creamy spread dotted with scallions, sweetened with maple syrup, and given a touch of heat from chili powder. Amp things up a bit by adding a minced fresh chile pepper, such as a jalapeño or serrano, to the spread. Feel free to swap the bread for a tortilla or flatbread to roll the filling into a wrap. This lunchbox favorite is tailor-made for dunking in a piping hot bowl of tomato soup or serving with a simple salad of mixed greens.
