"Bostock" refers to a traditional French dish that's made from slices of day-old brioche baked with almond paste, sliced almonds, and sugar. Our version swaps out the high-calorie ingredients for nutritious, fiber-rich ones, such as whole grains, flaxseed meal, and fresh raspberries.

Ingredients

Banana

1 small, ripe

Ground flaxseed meal

1 Tbsp

Almond butter

1 Tbsp

Frozen whole grain waffle

1 item(s), about 1 1/4 oz

Raspberries

cup(s)

Honey

¾ tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In small bowl, mash banana with fork. Stir in flaxseed and almond butter.
  3. Onto frozen waffle on small baking sheet, spread banana mixture. Into banana mixture, press raspberries. Bake until banana mixture begins to brown and waffle is crisp, about 20 minutes.
  4. Drizzle raspberries with honey.
  5. Serving size: 1 waffle with topping

Notes

Swap in a tbsp of reconstituted powdered almond butter, if you prefer.
