Tired of the same old burgers? We totally understand! Even the classic needs a makeover from time to time. That's why you should try these juicy patties, studded with bits of Canadian bacon and cheddar cheese, a combination that you and your guests will find irresistible. They also feature ground turkey and a touch of Worcestershire sauce, as well as an easy mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup. We broil the burgers so they’re ready in a flash (it should take about 3 minutes on each side), but you can also throw them on the grill if it's a nice day out—just make sure the grill rack is first sprayed with nonstick spray before proceeding.

Ingredients

Fat free mayonnaise

3 Tbsp

Ketchup

1 Tbsp

Uncooked bacon

2 slice(s), Canadian style, cut into small pieces

Uncooked extra lean ground turkey breast

1 pound(s)

Weight Watchers Reduced-fat Mexican style shredded cheese

2 oz, 3 slices, cut into small pieces

Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp

Table salt

¼ tsp

Black pepper

tsp, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Spray a broiler rack with canola nonstick spray; preheat the broiler.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the mayonnaise and ketchup in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Spray a large nonstick skillet with canola nonstick spray and set over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook, stirring occasionally, until the bacon browns and starts to become crisp, 3–4 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool completely.
  4. Add the turkey, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the bacon in the large bowl. Form into 4 patties. Place the patties on the broiler rack and broil, 4 inches from the heat, until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the side of each patty registers 165°F, 3–4 minutes on each side. Top each burger with 1 tablespoon of the mayonnaise mixture. Yields 1 burger per serving.
