Air-Fryer Spice-Rubbed Salmon
SmartPoints® value per serving
Once you’ve cooked salmon in the air fryer, you might never go back to sautéing or broiling. The method is incredibly quick, and the results are delectable—a slightly crisp exterior and juicy, silky interior. To ensure the spices distribute evenly, combine them in a bowl first instead of trying to sprinkle them on the fish individually. If your fillets are larger than what we call for, you’ll likely need to add a minute or two to the cook time.
8 oz, 2 (4-oz) skinless fillets
- In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, and salt. Lightly coat the salmon with cooking spray; sprinkle with the spice mixture.
- Preheat an air fryer, if necessary, to 400°F. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the salmon in the basket. Air-fry until the fish flakes easily or until the desired degree of doneness, 7 to 8 minutes.
- Serving size: 1 fillet
