- Preheat the oven to 220°C, fan 200°C, gas mark 7. Put the asparagus on a large baking tray, drizzle over the olive oil and scatter over the lemon zest. Season and toss together to coat.
- Mist another baking tray with cooking spray and arrange the salmon fillets on top. In a small bowl, combine the ground cumin, garlic powder and smoked paprika, then season to taste. Sprinkle the spice mix over the salmon.
- Put the asparagus on the lower rack of the oven and the salmon on the upper rack. Roast for 10-12 minutes until the asparagus is tender and the salmon flakes when tested with a fork. Divide between plates and serve.
