Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee, these cute spiced pastries are so simple to make and ideal for a hit of sweetness when the urge strikes


Ready rolled light puff pastry sheet

320 g

Low Fat Spread

50 g

Ground Cinnamon

1½ teaspoon(s), level

Light Brown Sugar

3 tablespoon(s)


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6 and line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Unroll the pastry and set aside.
  2. Mash together the spread, cinnamon and sugar until combined, then spread over the pastry. Starting from one of the long sides, roll up the pastry to the centre. Roll up the other side so that the 2 rolled-up sections meet in the middle.
  3. Cut the pastry roll into 1cm slices, then arrange on the baking trays, flattening a little with the palm of your hand. Bake for 20 minutes until risen and golden. Set aside to cool on a wire rack and serve.


Freeze for up to 3 months. To warm, thaw, then reheat in a medium oven for 5 minutes
