Chilli roasted Brussels sprouts

Ingredients
Brussels sprouts, raw
800 g, trimmed and halved
Olive Oil
1 tablespoon(s)
Chilli flakes
½ tablespoon(s), level
Fennel Seeds
½ tablespoon(s), level
Chilli, green or red
1 individual, red, deseeded and thinly sliced

Preheat the oven to 190°C, fan 170°C, gas mark 5. Trim and halve 800g Brussels sprouts, then toss together in a roasting tin with 1 tablespoon olive oil and ½ tablespoon each of chilli flakes and fennel seeds.

Season to taste, then roast for 20-25 minutes until tender, tossing once halfway through. Serve with 1 deseeded and thinly sliced red chilli scattered over.
