Low sodium soy sauce

Table salt
½ tsp
Unpacked brown sugar
½ tsp
Cornstarch
½ tsp
Unsalted butter
1 Tbsp
Uncooked wild Atlantic salmon fillet

Preheat oven to 350°F.

To make glaze, whisk jam and soy sauce together in a small bowl; set aside.

Pat salmon dry. Combine salt, sugar, and cornstarch in a cup; rub all over salmon. Heat butter over medium heat in an ovenproof skillet. Add salmon to skillet, skin side down; cook until golden, about 5 minutes. Flip salmon; spread with half of glaze. Place pan in oven; cook salmon for about 10 minutes or until desired degree of doneness.

Let salmon rest 5 minutes. Flake apart with a fork and toss with remaining glaze.
