Serve this deliciously-glazed salmon with avocado, jalapeno, radishes, lime crema, cotija cheese, and soft corn tortillas for a fully-loaded make-your-own taco bar. Or turn it into a bowl over your favorite veggies and grains, garnished with diced avocado and a squeeze of fresh lime.

Ingredients

Trade Street Jam Co. Strawberry chipotle + fig jam

¼ cup(s)

Low sodium soy sauce

4 Tbsp

Table salt

½ tsp

Unpacked brown sugar

½ tsp

Cornstarch

½ tsp

Unsalted butter

1 Tbsp

Uncooked wild Atlantic salmon fillet

8 oz

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. To make glaze, whisk jam and soy sauce together in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Pat salmon dry. Combine salt, sugar, and cornstarch in a cup; rub all over salmon. Heat butter over medium heat in an ovenproof skillet. Add salmon to skillet, skin side down; cook until golden, about 5 minutes. Flip salmon; spread with half of glaze. Place pan in oven; cook salmon for about 10 minutes or until desired degree of doneness.
  4. Let salmon rest 5 minutes. Flake apart with a fork and toss with remaining glaze.
  5. Serving size: about 3 oz salmon
