Mixing spaghetti with spiralized veggies is a great way to enjoy a bowl of pasta while boosting the vegetable content of your meal.

Cooking spray

Uncooked spaghetti

Red pepper flakes

Garlic
2 clove(s), thinly sliced
Marinara sauce

Fresh zucchini spirals

Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to package directions; drain.

Meanwhile, coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-low. Add the red pepper flakes and garlic to the pan; cook until the garlic is golden brown and fragrant, about 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in the marinara; bring to a boil. Increase heat to medium and add the zucchini; cook until the zucchini is thoroughly heated, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the drained spaghetti. Sprinkle with the cheese.
