Savory Beef Burgers
Uncooked 93% lean ground beef
2 Tbsp, chopped, minced
8 leaf/leaves, large
1 medium, cut into 8 slices
½ medium, cut into 8 slices
Reduced calorie hamburger bun(s)
- Heat a grill or grill pan on medium-high heat. In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion, mustard, Italian seasoning, cumin, pepper, and salt until thoroughly mixed.
- Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and form it into patties.
- Place the patties on the grill or grill pan; cook to desired degree of doneness, turning once, about 8 to 10 minutes, for medium.
- To assemble, place one patty on one half of each bun. Top each patty with 2 lettuce leaves, 2 tomato slices, 2 onion slices and the other half of the bun.
- Serving size: 1 burger.
