You cannot beat a 5-ingredients dessert that is ready in under 30 minutes! Warn bananas are ideal for the sauteed praline-style sauce, The easy caramel-nut sauce is not only divine over sautéed bananas, but it's also delicious drizzled over frozen yogurt or angel food cake. Ingredients

Maple syrup

5½ Tbsp

Fat free skim milk

3 Tbsp

Chopped pecans (unsalted, raw or dry roasted, no sugar added)

3 Tbsp

Cooking spray

Banana

4 large, peeled, halved lengthwise and then crosswise

Combine maple syrup, milk and pecans in a small saucepan; set pan over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the mixture thickens and reduces to about 1/3 cup, about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and set pan over medium-high heat. Add bananas (make sure to slice them just before cooking to prevent discoloration) and sauté until golden brown, about 1 minute per side.

Transfer bananas to dessert plates and spoon praline sauce over top. Yields 1 banana and about 1 1/2 tablespoons of sauce per serving.
