Ingredients

Maple syrup

5½ Tbsp

Fat free skim milk

3 Tbsp

Chopped pecans

3 Tbsp

Cooking spray

1 spray(s)

Banana

4 large, peeled, halved lengthwise and then crosswise

Instructions

  1. Combine maple syrup, milk and pecans in a small saucepan; set pan over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the mixture thickens and reduces to about 1/3 cup, about 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and set pan over medium-high heat. Add bananas (make sure to slice them just before cooking to prevent discoloration) and sauté until golden brown, about 1 minute per side.
  3. Transfer bananas to dessert plates and spoon praline sauce over top. Yields 1 banana and about 1 1/2 tablespoons of sauce per serving.
