Quick churro crisps
SmartPoints® value per serving
You'll love this delicious take on traditional churros, which are usually deep-fried and sold by street vendors. These crisps take less than 25 minutes to make and require just 5 ingredients, one of which is butter-flavored cooking spray. All you have to do is sprinkle whole wheat tortilla strips with brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Toss them all together, then bake until the tortillas are nice and crisp, which takes just 8 minutes. Serve them as an appetizer, snack, or even a quick dessert—though this recipe is designed for one, it can be easily scaled up for a crowd.
