Ingredients
Cooking spray
4 spray(s)
Banana
8 medium, very ripe
Light butter
½ cup(s), melted
Unpacked brown sugar
½ cup(s)
Sugar
½ cup(s)
Egg
2 large egg(s)
Vanilla extract
1 tsp
Sesame oil
½ tsp
Lily's Dark chocolate baking chips
7 oz, or milk chocolate (about 1 cup)
All-purpose flour
1½ cup(s)
Cornstarch
1 Tbsp
Baking soda
1 tsp
Baking powder
½ tsp
Ground cinnamon
½ tsp
Kosher salt
½ tsp
Powdered peanut butter
⅓ cup(s)
Protein powder
½ cup(s)
Unsalted toasted sesame seeds
1 Tbsp
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 350°F
2
Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl. Add the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, sesame oil, and chocolate chips. Whisk it all together.
3
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, salt, peanut butter powder, and protein powder. Whisk all of the dry ingredients together. Add the dry mix to wet mix and fold gently until all the flour is combined.
4
Spray a 8 1/2” loaf pan or a 10-cup bundt pan with cooking spray. Pour the banana bread mixture in and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top if using a loaf pan. If you’re using a bundt, reserve the sesame seeds for coating the bread afterward.
5
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until risen and lightly browned. To test if it is done, stick a skewer or cake tester in a few spots. It should come out clean.
6
Let cool for 30 minutes. Unmold the bundt or loaf pan onto a plate and slice into 14 pieces.
7
Serving size: 1 piece
