Ingredients

plum(s)

2 item(s), medium, red, pitted, thinly sliced

mint leaves

8 piece(s), minced

sugar

2 tsp

sorbet

1½ cup(s), lemon-variety

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss together plums, mint and sugar; refrigerate at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
  2. Place 1/4 cup scoop of sorbet in each of six bowls; spoon 1/4 cup of plums and a teaspoon or two of their juice over top. Yields 1 sundae per serving.

Notes

These easy "sundaes" are best when the plums are very ripe, a little soft and quite juicy. Use a premium lemon sorbet for this refreshing dessert.
