Total time: 18 min • Prep: 10 min • Cook: 8 min • Serves: 12 • Difficulty: Easy

These cocktail bites are the perfect appetizer for any holiday party. They come together in less than 20 minutes and require just 5 ingredients. All you have to do is broil a few slices of rye bread, then make the topping, which includes cream cheese, reduced-fat cheddar cheese, roasted red peppers, and a touch of cayenne pepper for a little bit of heat. Spread the topping over the toasts and these adorable, cheesy snacks are ready to be served. You can easily scale the recipe up if you're expecting lots of guests to stop by, and is simple enough to put together if unexpected guests come by too.
