Try our take on this always-popular holiday cocktail. The ginger tea adds a spicy element to this toddy, and you can amp it up or tone is down based on your preferences. For a slight ginger flavor, let the tea steep for 5 minutes. For a stronger, larger hit of ginger, let the tea steep for 15 to 20 minutes before pouring in the rest of the ingredients. The sweetness of bourbon is delicious in this classic drink, but you could also use rum, brandy, or scotch, if you like, for a hot drink that’s perfect for a party or a night in.
