This is a perfect sandwich option to pack and take for lunch at school, work, or when you’re simply on the go. The fresh, tart Granny Smith apple is a delicious contrast to the salty ham, creamy cheese, and hit of strong-flavored Dijon mustard. Thin whole-wheat sandwich bread lets the filling shine. You can substitute whatever type of lean deli meat that you prefer; roast beef, turkey, and chicken would all be tasty here. At the deli, ask them to slice the meat thin so it stacks high. What’s more, this sandwich takes just five minutes to make.
