- 2 medium uncooked acorn squash
- 4 tsp reduced-calorie margarine
- 4 tsp unpacked brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp table salt, to taste
- 1/8 tsp black pepper, to taste
Halve each acorn squash and remove seeds. Prick flesh all over with fork. Place 1 teaspoon each of margarine and brown sugar into each half.
Place squash, cut-side up, on a dish and microwave on high power for 10 minutes. Season to taste.
