This chocolate peanut butter banana is the perfect smoothie to whip up as the weather starts to get hot. It is creamy, cold, healthy and delicious. What is better to keep your health and taste buds in check? The combination of decadent chocolate, creamy peanut butter, and sweet banana makes this smoothie truly amazing! For the best flavor, make sure your banana is ripe. Any type of milk will work here—try it with almond milk for more nuttier flavor. This ice what give this smoothie a super thick consistency. Feel free to use less ice if you like your smoothies a little thinner.

Ingredients

Skim milk

½ cup(s), or any milk on hand

Ice cube(s)

¾ cup(s), 3/4 – 1 cup ice (depending on preferred thickness)

Banana(s)

1 large, ripe

Unsweetened cocoa powder

1 Tbsp

Peanut Butter & Co. Chocolate peanut powder

2 Tbsp

Plain fat free Greek yogurt

½ cup(s)

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tbsp Mighty Nut Chocolate and the rest of the ingredients except for the last two to a blender. Use 3/4 cup ice for a thinner smoothie and 1 cup of ice for a thicker smoothie. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour smoothie into a tall glass.
  2. Mix water with remaining 1 tbsp Mighty Nut Chocolate to make peanut sauce. Top smoothie with chocolate chips, peanut sauce, and a slice of banana if desired. Enjoy!
