Look at how adorable these savory, yummy bites are. They're the best thing to serve as a fun appetizer before a dinner party, during the big game, or whenever you want a healthier twist on the traditional pigs in a blanket. All you and your guests have to do is just dunk and pop them into your mouth. Using refrigerated store-bought dough makes it seem like you spent hours in the kitchen, when in reality these come together in just 40 minutes. You can go sweet with a pre-made honey mustard dip or make it a little bit spicy by adding some hot red pepper sauce.

Ingredients

Refrigerated bread stick dough

8 oz

Uncooked skinless boneless chicken thigh

1 pound(s), cut into 24 equal-size pieces

Honey mustard

¼ cup(s), Dipping Sauce

Honey mustard

3 Tbsp

Less sodium soy sauce

1½ tsp

Chives

2 tsp, fresh, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll dough and cut it into 24 strips; place strips horizontally in front of you. Top each strip with a piece of chicken and brush chicken with some mustard; roll dough around chicken (chicken will stick out on the ends).
  3. Place chicken bites on prepared baking sheet. Bake until dough is golden brown and chicken is cooked through, about 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  4. Meanwhile, combine mustard and soy sauce in a small bowl; sprinkle with chives. Yields 1 chicken bite per serving.
