red onion

¼ cup(s), finely chopped

cooked frozen shrimp

4 oz, peeled, cut into bite-size chunks

balsamic vinegar

½ tsp, white

table salt

¼ tsp

curry powder

¼ tsp


1 Tbsp, fresh minced


Combine orange, onion and shrimp in a medium salad bowl. Stir together vinegar, salt and curry powder in a cup. Pour dressing over salad and toss well. Sprinkle with cilantro.

Time saver tip: Look for individually quick frozen (IQF) cooked and peeled shrimp in the supermarket. Pour out what you need and keep the remainder in the freezer.
