uncooked lean pork tenderloin

3 oz, cut into bite-sized cubes


1 medium, halved

green bell pepper

½ medium, halved

Splenda No Calorie sweetener packets

½ tsp, or other artificial sweetener

balsamic vinegar

1½ tsp

chicken broth

1 Tbsp

less sodium soy sauce

1½ Tbsp


Preheat broiler. Alternately thread pork, shallot and pepper onto a metal skewer. Place on broiler rack. Combine Splenda, vinegar, broth and soy sauce in a cup; brush over pork. Broil pork 4 inches from heat source for 5 minutes; turn pork over and broil until pork is cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes more.

Time-Saver tip: Pork is easier to slice if it’s partially frozen. Place the tenderloin on a baking sheet and place in the freezer for 30 minutes before cutting.
