Notes

Combine rice, evaporated milk and sugar substitute in a microwave-safe plastic container; stir well. Microwave until hot and slightly thickened; stir in figs. (INGREDIENT SWAP OPTION: Not a fig fan? Leave them out and add 2 tablespoons of cooked guava sauce – found in the ethnic section of your supermarket – to the rice mixture before you microwave it.)
