Asian Pork with Garlic Sauce

2½ oz, (diced; about 1/2 cup)

fresh ginger

½ tsp, (fresh; grated)

jarred minced garlic

½ tsp

less sodium soy sauce

1 tsp

cayenne pepper



1 medium, (white and green parts; minced)


2 leaf/leaves


Combine pork, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and cayenne pepper together in a shallow bowl; refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 8 hours. Remove pork mixture from refrigerator; drain off marinade. Toss pork with scallion and wrap in lettuce leaves to serve. (INGREDIENT SWAP OPTION: Prepare this meal with cooked, diced chicken breast instead of pork, if desired.)
