1 medium, cored and grated

Asda Extra Special French Almond Extract
- Put the oats, apple and chia seeds in a large bowl and stir to combine. Add the almond milk, 1 tablespoon of the agave syrup and the almond extract and stir until combined. Cover and put in the fridge to chill overnight.
- Before you’re ready to serve, make the compote. Put the cherries, orange zest and remaining agave syrup in a medium pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes until the cherries are softened and just heated through. Drain off and discard 1 tablespoon of the liquid, then roughly crush the cherries with a fork, keeping some of them whole.
- Divide the oat mixture between bowls, then serve topped with the cherry compote and the flaked almonds.
