Apple(s)

6 medium, cut into 2cm pieces

Copella Cloudy Apple Juice

60 ml

Ground Cinnamon

1½ teaspoons, level

Coconut Oil

1 tablespoons

Porridge oats

30 g

Dark Chocolate

20 g, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6. Peel, core and chop 6 Gala apples into 2cm pieces and put into a large pan with the apple juice, 40ml water and the cinnamon. Cover and bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples have started to break down and the liquid has almost evaporated.
  2. Tip the apples into a small baking dish. Melt the coconut oil in a small pan over a medium heat, then stir the porridge oats. Scatter the oat mixture and the chopped dark chocolate over the fruit, and bake for 20 minutes until the oats are golden and the chocolate has melted.
