If you’re not a morning person, this is the ideal breakfast for you – simple, energising and all the magic happens when you’re fast asleep in bed.
Fat Free Natural Yogurt
4 medium, 3 peeled, cored and grated; 1 cored and diced
Chia Seeds, dry
- Prepare the muesli the night before you want to serve it. Put the oats into a lidded plastic container. Add the yogurt, grated apples, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and 150ml water. Stir well to combine. Put the lid on, then chill overnight in the fridge.
- The next morning, stir the muesli well. If it’s too thick, stir in a little more water until it reaches your preferred consistency.
- Stir 2 teaspoons of the chia seeds into the Bircher muesli, then divide between bowls. Scatter over the remaining chia seeds and the diced apple, then serve.
