So cute and so easy! This is a perfect Halloween treat to make with kids, and it's a total crowd pleaser. The recipe calls for popsicle sticks, but if you don't have them on hand, you can always use the handle of a plastic spoon, or a regular spoon, for that matter (just be aware that metal spoons will get very cold in freezer and fridge, and might need to be wrapped in a napkin to make them easier to hold when it's time to eat).

Ingredients

Banana

3 medium

Powdered peanut butter

¼ cup(s)

Water

3 Tbsp

Ground cinnamon

1 tsp

White chocolate chips

½ cup(s)

Mini semisweet chocolate chips

1 Tbsp

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut each banana in half crosswise. Insert a popsicle stick into each banana half, and place the halves on a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix powdered peanut butter, cinnamon, and water. Add the mixture to a piping bag and set aside.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 15 second increments, stirring each time, until completely melted. Add the melted chocolate to a piping bag. Cut the tips off of both piping bags, and drizzle both the white chocolate and the peanut butter mixture over the frozen bananas to make the mummies.
  4. On the back of each candy eye, pipe a dot of white chocolate and adhere the eyes to the bananas. Chill for 30 minutes or until set.
  5. Serving size: 1 banana mummy
