These addictive salty, savory almonds are super-fast to make and the perfect finger food. Try them as a simple snack or as a delicious addition to a tapas menu.
olive oil½ tsp
blanched almonds½ cup(s), whole
kosher salt¼ tsp
cayenne pepper⅛ tsp
- Heat the oil in a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the almonds and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook, shaking the skillet occasionally, until the almonds just begin to brown, about 5 minutes. Immediately transfer the almonds to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with the salt and cayenne, tossing to coat. Serve warm or at room temperature. Yields about 10 almonds per serving.
