Everybody loves a burrito, but with our Reduced Fat Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese upping the yum-factor, it’s love at first bite with this hearty and healthy classic. The burritos are also filled with canned refried beans, fresh tomatoes, and sliced onions for a savory, crunchy combination. And we do recommend heating the tortillas in a skillet to make them a little more pliable, but you can skip this step if you're in a hurry. You can also add some cooked rice or shredded cooked chicken or beef if you'd like, as this recipe is great for leftovers, but keep in mind this will change the nutritional value.


Fat free canned refried beans

16 oz, (1 can)

WW Reduced fat shredded Mexican style blend cheese

1 cup(s)

Whole-wheat tortilla(s)

4 large, (10 inch)

Fresh tomato(es)

1 cup(s), chopped

Uncooked onion(s)

cup(s), chopped, thinly sliced

Fat free sour cream

½ cup(s)


  1. Heat beans in microwave safe container. To make tortillas easier to work with, heat nonstick skillet over low heat and warm slightly.
  2. Top each tortilla evenly down the middle with beans, then sprinkle with tomatoes and green onion, followed by Weight Watchers Mexican Style Blend.
  3. Fold bottom of tortilla up over fillings, then fold one side over followed by the other. Serve each burrito with 2 TB sour cream.
