Yes, this pizza-nacho dream team mash-up comes together in less than 5 minutes. This recipe takes care of a pizza or nacho craving in one fell swoop. It’s also easily doubled, or even tripled, for a party. Top the tortilla chips with store-bought marinara sauce, dried oregano, part-skim mozzarella, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Broil until the cheese just starts to melt, which should take 1 minute. Be careful, as broilers can vary wildly, so be sure to check on the chips as frequently as possible so they don't brown too much. Otherwise, this hearty, satisfying appetizer is as fast and simple as it gets.


Baked low fat tortilla chips

2 oz, about 26 chips

Store-bought marinara sauce

½ cup(s), or tomato sauce

Dried oregano

Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

  1. Preheat the broiler. Arrange the tortilla chips in a single layer on a pizza pan or small jelly-roll pan. Drizzle with the tomato sauce and sprinkle with the oregano. Top with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Broil until the chips just start to brown and the cheese starts to melt, about 1 minute. Yields about 6 chips per serving.
