This well-loved cocktail is traditionally a mix of vodka, spicy ginger beer, and fresh lime juice. In our version, we’ve used a mix of grated fresh ginger and ginger ale to trim the calories but not the flavor. This cocktail is at its most delicious when served in a copper mug. That’s because copper is excellent at dispersing heat, which means the heat from your hand doesn’t easily melt the ice in your drink, keeping it wonderfully, refreshingly cold. These odds of maintaining and ice-cold drink are improved even further by a copper mug handle. Garnish the drink with a wedge of lime.
