- Lightly coat a medium nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-low heat. Add apples, almonds, and syrup; cook, stirring occasionally, until apples soften slightly and start to turn golden, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; spoon mixture into a serving bowl. Let cool slightly; garnish with whipped topping and sprinkles. Serve hot or warm.
