Rich and delicious, this treat tastes so out-of-this world, one square is all you need to satisfy a sweet tooth. Plus, it’s so easy to prepare. Just cook the milk, sugar, and margarine on the stove top. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the chocolate and marshmallows until smooth and pour into a pan. It’s that simple! Store the fudge in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until you’re ready to enjoy before cutting them into squares. They’ll hold up well in the fridge for about a week. You could also freeze the pan briefly for a firmer consistency if you prefer.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

1 spray(s)

Sugar

1 cup(s)

Fat free evaporated milk

cup(s)

Reduced-calorie margarine

2 Tbsp, or light butter

Semisweet chocolate

12 oz, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)

Marshmallows

14 large

Instructions

  1. Coat an 8- X 8-inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar, evaporated milk and margarine (or butter); bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in chocolate and marshmallows; remove pan from heat and stir until smooth.
  4. Pour mixture into prepared pan and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Cut into thirty-six 1 1/3-inch squares and serve. Yields 1 piece per serving.

Notes

Store fudge in refrigerator. Or freeze for a firmer consistency.
