You won't find an easier or more beautiful snack or dessert recipe than this one. Simply divide fruit-flavored, sweetened yogurt among bowls, then top it with a mixture of canned mandarin oranges, pineapple, and sliced bananas. (Feel free to add some bright color to the ambrosia by mixing a 6-ounce container of raspberries into the fruit mixture.) All that's left to do is to top it off with mini marshmallows and shredded, sweetened coconut. It really doesn't get much simpler than that! You'll love the pretty presentation and combination of flavors so much, you'll have the ingredients to make this dessert on hand at all times.


Fruit flavored fat free yogurt sweetened with sugar

6 oz

Canned mandarin oranges in light syrup

11 oz, drained

Canned pineapple packed in juice

8 oz, chunks, drained


1 large, sliced

Mini marshmallows


Dried shredded and sweetened coconut meat

2 Tbsp, toasted


  1. Divide the yogurt evenly among 4 dessert dishes. Gently mix together the oranges, pineapple, and banana in a medium bowl. Top the yogurt evenly with the fruit; sprinkle with the marshmallows and coconut. Yields 1 dessert per serving.
